The instructions don't say whether this should be used on top of or underneath a sheet. So I googled and found a source that said above the sheet is best, but you can a use a grounding mat under a natural-fiber sheet as long as you sleep without clothes. I'm not crazy about the rubbery texture of this mat, so I went with the under-sheet option. Two long straps slip under the mattress to help keep the mat in place. This is my first experience with grounding textiles. I held an EMF meter to it, as I'd read that such products might emit EMFs, but the meter didn't register at all. It could be psychosomatic of course, but I feel a subtle difference in my energy level since I've been using this. I do feel more grounded and motivated. I tend to run ethereal, so I look forward to continuing to use this ?
